ABSTRACTS

The 2026 International Cancer Education Conference, organized by the American Association for Cancer Education (AACE) and the European Association for Cancer Education (EACE), invites abstracts for Preconference Workshops, Oral Presentations, Poster Presentations, and Symposiums/Panels that emphasize cancer education curricula, programs and/or initiatives across the cancer continuum, in relation to the conference theme, Cancer Education: From Innovation to Impact.

Oral, Poster, and Symposium/Panel individual abstracts are required to be categorized as either Research or Practices in Cancer Education and to be submitted in a primary focal area. Authors have the opportunity to indicate up to five keywords for their submission from a list of over 60 options. Submit an Abstract

The extended submission deadline for all presentation types is Tuesday, 9 June 2026 at 11:59 EDT.

Abstracts must be submitted under one of the following presentation types:

Workshops (90-minute skills workshops)
Oral presentations (15-minute presentations, including Q&A, in a session with 2 other oral presentations on similar topics)
Poster presentations (posters prepared for attendee viewing throughout the conference with a poster session for Q&A)
Either oral or poster (indicating the author is happy to present their research/program in either format)
Symposium/Panel submissions (a group of 3 presentations organized around a central theme in a 60-minute time-frame; the symposium organizer collects all individual abstracts from their presenters and prepares a general overview abstract)
- Symposium/Panel Overview: A Symposium/Panel Overview title and description (in the "Abstract text" field on the Abstract page of the form), which will specify the overall Symposium/Panel title and a brief description (2-3 sentences) for the entire symposium/panel
- Symposium/Panel Participating Abstracts: The title, presenter(s), and abstract (with all required component parts) for each of the 3 individual abstracts in the Symposium/Panel (on the Abstract Details page of the form)
