Membership in the Association is open to all individuals engaged in any aspect of cancer education. The AACE, with a membership of approximately 400, is governed by an Executive Council consisting of the President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Advisory Committee Chair, and six members appointed by the President. Applications for membership are made to the Executive Director of the Association. The benefits of being an AACE member are numerous and include:

  • The Journal of Cancer Education (JCE) - the official journal of the American Association for Cancer Education and the European Association for Cancer Education.
  • Discounted registration at the AACE annual conference: a uniquely interdisciplinary meeting of professionals dedicated to cancer education.
  • Year-round activity via 10 special interest sections focused on specific cancer education topics.
  •  www.aaceonline.com the AACE website featuring annual meeting information, members only access to current and archived JCE issues, AACE On-line Forums, links to cancer education resources and more.
